Last week the Passow 4th and 5th graders gathered in the gym to hear their peers tell them why they would be the best candidate for a spot on our Student Council Executive Board. The fifth-grade boys and girls talked about their leadership skills, their vision for Passow, and all the reasons they love being a panda. Mrs. Brogan and Ms. Yarmer, our student council moderators, wrapped up the speeches by thanking the candidates and then instructed the audience to open their Chromebooks and cast their votes digitally. The winners were announced to plenty of cheers, but even nicer, was the support and high fives that were given to those awesome kids that didn’t win this time around. We could not have been more proud of all of our students. Overall, it was a great day and we are proud of all of our candidates!
