Last week was a District 84 fan favorite, PTA’s Junior Olympics. Mrs. Piazza, Mr. Jeske, and Mr. Maccione worked with our amazing PTA leaders and teacher volunteers to create stations including bean bags, hockey, basketball and the inflatable obstacle course. Students competed at each station to earn points that would eventually determine which medal they went home with. Kids worked hard and were proud of their gold, silver, and bronze hardware. District 84 families also enjoyed snacks, games, and photo ops that kept everyone entertained throughout the night. Mayor Pedersen even came by to say hi to everyone and pull a winner for the big raffle prize.
