Digital citizenship means being a respectful and responsible member of the online community. We have given our children the tools that they need to be successful during virtual learning and beyond and now we need to have conversations about using those tools in the appropriate and responsible way.
What is digital citizenship?
Digital citizenship refers to the responsible use of technology by anyone who uses computers, the Internet, and digital devices to engage with society on any level.
Why is it important?
Due to the pandemic, our students have been exposed to more opportunities and time online than they have ever been. It is our responsibility to ensure that they understand everything that comes along with being a responsible digital citizen.
