5 Days a Week!

Following an announcement from superintendent, Dr. David Katzin after the March District 84 School Board meeting, Passow students were thrilled to know they would be coming to school five days a week. While this was not a significant change for our littlest learners, it meant double the in-person learning for our second through fifth grades.

"Our students have been doing an amazing job at virtual learning, but having the majority of them together in one space is going to be awesome,"  says second grade teacher Mrs Lopez. Families will still be offered a remote learning option for now, but teachers are excited to end the A/B model of instruction.

When asked about another change, fourth grade teacher Ms. Codell said, "It has been a year of changes, but each one has been for the betterment and safety of our kids, so the work has always been worth it!"
