Unity Week at Passow!

Unity Week was a wonderful week to be a panda! Student Council, Ms. Kawata and the teachers and students put together a week that spread kindness into every inch and corner of our school. The students loved kicking off Spirit Week with pajamas so they could “put bullying to bed!” Student council also rolled out the new tie-dye spirit wear that kids couldn’t wait to rock. All of our pandas took a kindness pledge that we combined into one big pledge in our front hall to remind us of our intentions to always treat one another well. Ms. Brogan, Mrs. Martin and some of the teachers recorded the story, “What Does it Mean to be Kind?” and the students loved hearing the voices of their teachers reading a message about kindness. Parents and students also worked together on our PTA fundraiser, “Footsteps towards Kindness” activity that helped to create a path of kindness around Passow School. All of this and so much more created such a positive spirit and compassionate and friendly environment that we hope to carry throughout the year!
